FAQ
Questions
Will it make things up?
No. The AI must quote your CV for every sentence it writes, and the app checks each quote word for word. Lines without evidence, with numbers that aren't in the evidence, or naming skills you never listed are removed — and you see what was removed.
What files can I upload?
PDF (with selectable text), Word (.docx), TXT or Markdown, up to 5 MB. Old .doc files: save them as .docx or PDF first. You can also paste the text. Scanned PDFs without a text layer won't work.
Where is my CV stored, and who sees it?
In encrypted storage on AWS (US), visible only to your account. To tailor it, the CV and job text are sent to the AI provider (OpenAI, with Anthropic as a backup). See the privacy notice.
Can I just screenshot the job posting?
Yes. Upload up to six screenshots (or drag them in, or paste with Ctrl+V); on a phone you can pick them straight from Photos. The title, company and description are filled in for you in about half a minute — check them, then tailor. Only the role's own text is kept, not the company boilerplate, and you're warned if a screenshot shows a different job.
How long does it take?
Usually one to two minutes per tailored CV. It runs in the background, so you can leave the page and come back to it in History.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Open it in your phone's browser and use "Add to Home Screen" (iPhone) or "Install app" (Android) to keep it like an app.
Does it apply to jobs for me?
No, on purpose. You stay in control of what gets sent and where.
