Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Beyond Edge Curiosity LLC ("we", "us"), which operates TailorProof. By creating an account or using TailorProof you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

TailorProof helps you tailor your own CV to a job posting and shows how each line is supported by the CV you provide. It can also write a cover letter and interview preparation, read job postings from screenshots, build a profile from your CVs, and email your files to you. Features may change as we improve the service.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use TailorProof, and at least 18 (or have a parent's or guardian's permission) to buy a pass.

Your account

You need an account with a working email address. Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@beyondedgecuriosity.com if you think someone else has used it.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or enter (your CVs, job postings and screenshots) and of the documents created for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you, including sending it to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Only upload content you have the right to use, and do not upload other people's personal data beyond what a CV or job posting normally contains.

Check before you send

TailorProof uses AI. We check every tailored line against your own CV and remove lines we cannot trace to it, but AI can still make mistakes, and the checks cannot know facts your CV does not state. You are responsible for reviewing every document before you use it and for the accuracy of what you send to employers. We do not promise interviews, job offers or any particular result.

Acceptable use

Do not use TailorProof to create false or misleading claims about yourself or anyone else, to break the law or anyone's rights, to attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, to get around plan limits, or to share your account. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.

Plans and payment

A free account includes a limited number of tailored CVs. Paid passes (currently the Job Search Pass for 30 days and the Quarter Pass for 90 days) give unlimited tailoring for their period. Passes are one-time payments: they do not renew and nothing is charged again automatically. Buying a pass while another is active adds its days to the end of the current one. Prices are shown before you pay and payments are processed by Stripe. If a pass does not work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will fix it or refund it; otherwise passes are not refundable once their period has started, except where the law requires.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep TailorProof available but cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features; if we stop the whole service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any active pass.

Liability

TailorProof is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost opportunities or earnings), and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you have not paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your account

You can stop using TailorProof at any time and delete your account and data in the app (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where reasonable we will tell you why first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use TailorProof after that means you accept the new terms.
